Jack Main showed all his experience to take a stunning last leg victory to win event 3 of the Suffolk Super Series Darts at Stonham Barns Park on Saturday, Main beat a host of top local players to take the title including a 4-2 victory in the semi final against best friend and PDC development tour star Tyler Thorpe to cement his place in the final
In the final he would face multiple winner Bury St Edmunds own Henry Cutting. Cutting who came through arguably the tougher half of the draw having to play Cambridge county player Peter Cousins in the quarter finals, and winning an epic semi final clash 4-3 against World Seniors finalist Kevin Edwards.
A back and forth final would see Cutting leading 3-2 before a 2 leg burst of power scoring sore Main take the lead 4-3, much to the crowds delight Cutting won a tense 8th leg to take us all the way to a decider. A fitting end to a high standard final with Main holding his nerve to take the title.
The big story of the day came in the form of 11 year old Lennon Wharf, Lennon playing his first major adult event showed everyone just what all the hype is about by taking out some seasoned players to progress from his group in second place losing only 1 match. In the K.O stages Lennon gave us a glimpse of the great things to come winning his last 16 match 3-1 against Suffolk County player JJ Wright before eventually being beaten by Seniors star Kevin Edwards in the quarter finals.

Ashley Coleman finally wins a Super Series event, after a number of wins in the big KO comps Ash comes through a tough draw to take the title. wis over Jack Elvin and Tony Lincoln without dropping a leg set up a mouth watering quarter final with Suffolk team mate Gary Butcher, in a power scoring match ash took the honours 4-2. Ash then carried on his stellar form to beat Rob Butters who had gone 1 better than event 1 in making the semi finals.
Ash would meet multi Series winner Jack Main in the final after Jack came through epic battles with event 1 winner Kevin Edwards and Tyler Thorpe.
At 2-2 this looked to be a close final only for Ash to turn on the power scoring once more to pull away from Jack and take his maiden title 5-2
